Photographs.
The pictures are photographs of a working moment or the first page of a public form. A person with papers, a calculator with receipts, an empty office after close, and federal forms a firm already knows by number. Each file is its own download. We do not crop one photo into two tiles.
Pixabay authors and page links are listed in the build's source notes. The license is the Pixabay Content License. Federal form pages are public works from the revenue service. One capitol photograph is used only on the owners page linked from the footer, and it is not repeated on the other pages. That capitol photograph is a public-domain picture from the United States Department of Agriculture. The hand writing on papers, and the employment forms in front of a laptop, are the two library photographs on the national pages. Every other picture is the first page of a federal form.
Type.
Headings are Cormorant Garamond. Body text is Outfit. Both are loaded from files we host with the pictures, so a page does not wait on a third party font site.
What we did not photograph.
We did not photograph a client file or a bank statement with a readable balance that belongs to a real firm. The mark on the proof card is drawn, not a portrait. A person in a photograph is a stranger from the photo library, not a client and not a member of this practice.
